Plans are underway for Starry Night 2017!
Sunday, April 23rd
Westerville NORTH High School
2:00 – 6:00 pm
Our Starry Night Chair, Jack Brown has been working hard
to bring things together for an even more fabulous Starry Night in 2017.
Our premier learning event takes on a “Maker” theme this year as we recognize student projects built from Westerville City School’s expanding Maker Space program.
With an even greater emphasis on making things and discovering
the linkages between traditional crafts, art, modern technologies,
we have familiar friends and new experiences coming on board.
For example, we are so excited that Central Ohio Weavers Guild
is joining us along with woodworkers and other skilled craftsmen.
We believe this is a perfect example of the historical developments
in weaving, wood craftsmanship, computer programming
and automated machines.
To really pull this off on April 23rd, we need help!
Either your help, or someone you know.
We are looking for people to help in the following committees:
– School Logistics with WNHS
– Westerville City Schools Relationships and Turnout
Ask anyone who has helped out in the past years,
you get more out of the experience than you put in.
Jack Brown, Chief Starry Night Maker, will let you know when our meetings are and welcome you on board!
